ORHub, Inc. (ORHB) Expands Operations at Nation’s Second Largest Non-Profit Hospital System

NEWPORT BEACH, CA / ACCESSWIRE / February 14, 2017 / ORhub, Inc. (OTC PINK: ORHB) (the “Company”), a cloud-based health care software-as-a-service company focused on decreasing costs and improving outcomes in surgical care, today highlights the expansion of its pilot program to include one of the top five highest-volume orthopedic hospitals in the United States. Partnership with this customer, also rated a five-star hospital by the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, will deepen ORhub’s presence in California and supports the Company’s commitment to help reduce cost in the nation’s health care system.

By demonstrating the effectiveness of ORhub, this new California pilot increases the Company’s penetration in a West Coast system with more than 50 hospitals.

“We are very excited by this expansion of ORhub at a reputable hospital,” says ORhub Chief Medical Advisor, Dr. Richard Lee. “Even as a top ranking surgery center, this customer is intrigued by the productivity and insight our software produced at a sister hospital in California, and we are confident our system will replicate this success for our new partner. We believe that if ORhub can successfully operate in this premier and highvolume environment, the software should be an asset to any hospital.”

The Company’s new customer has multiple accolades, including:

One of only eight California hospitals recognized by Consumer Reports as a “Highest-Rated Hospital” for knee and hip surgery for 2016
Ranked as one of the top orthopedic hospitals in the nation, two years in a row by U.S. News & World Report
Highest-volume provider of joint replacements in California, as reported by data from California’s Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD)
“This is a big step for us,” says ORhub Chief Technology Officer, Wesley Mitchell. “Our goal is to cut $250 billion out of annual U.S. health care spending by reducing cost and increasing efficiency in surgical operations, which is roughly one-third of the $3 trillion spent on healthcare in the U.S. every year. Moving forward with one of the most efficient hospitals in the nation gives us a platform to show that what we are doing can have a significant impact at any hospital, even one already praised for its efficiency.”
