ORHub Announces Surgical Spotlight™ Helps Medical Facilities and Providers to Meet New Meaningful Use Stage 3 Requirements by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Dec. 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — ORHub, Inc. (OTC: ORHB) (the “Company” or “ORHub”), a SaaS-based healthcare data analytics company uniquely focused on the business of surgery to improve the profitability of health systems, hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), today announces that Surgical Spotlight™ helps medical facilities to meet new Meaningful Use Stage 3 (MU3) requirements put forth by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS).

CMS recently announced the requirements for its new Promoting Interoperability Program, formerly known as Meaningful Use, Stage 3 attestations.
After reviewing the requirements set forth by CMS, ORHub’s internal intelligence team has determined that Surgical Spotlight™ provides hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers a Clinical Decision Support (CDS) tool by providing actionable data for clinical interventions which enhance the coordination of care for surgeries and other medical procedures performed in the operating rooms (OR).

“By using our Surgical Spotlight™ platform, our clients can be assured to meet one of six measures which are focused on improving patient outcomes in Stage 3, which is a mandatory requirement by CMS after 2018, to qualify for incentive payments,” said Colt Melby, Chief Executive Officer of ORHub. “This additional benefit of our analytics platform will help our health systems in the transition to meet complex CMS requirements while avoiding costly penalties when such requirements are not met.”
Spotlight™ is a differentiated platform that links OR efficiency metrics to cost data for materials and labor. Implementation of the Surgical Spotlight™ custom dashboard is lightweight and doesn’t require EHR integration, costly analysts or complicated software. Its cloud-based data feeds populate dynamic dashboards that can be used by administrators, surgeons and nurses.
